WABEES HEAT UP MIAMI
Withoutabox filmmakers sizzled at the 26th Annual MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL by winning over half of the film awards presented at this year's event!

WABees especially scorched the competition when it came to the Grand Jury Awards, by winning all of the $77,500+ in cash prizes. Kudos to Ildiko Enyedi's ELSO SZERELEM (First Love) for winning in the Shorts Competition and taking home a $2,500 cash prize. Huge applause for Daniele Vicari's IL PASSATO E UNA TERRA STRANIERA (The Past is a Foreign Land), Mariano Llinas' HISTORIAS EXTRAORDINARIAS (Extraordinary Stories) and Yulene Olaizola's SHAKESPEARE AND VICTOR HUGO'S INTIMACIES (Intimidades de Shakespeare y Victor Hugo) for winning top awards in the World Competition, Ibero-American Competition and in the Dox Competition... along with the $25,000 cash prizes, each! Congratulations to you all - we wish you and your films continued success.
