Give your CD to Richard L'Hommedieu.. and he will make sure that it gets logged into WUSB and gets on the new music rack in the station studio.
WUSB has a policy that DJ’s must play at least 25% new music during every shift .. and if your CD is in the station that means there is a good chance that means you or your band is going to get some airplay .. and if the DJ likes what he hears .. you may end up on some of the many shows that showcase Independent artists!
So if you have a band or you are a solo act .. if you play Metal, Country, Blues, HipHop, R&B, Rock, Punk, Electronic, Jazz, Irish, Opera, Classical or you defy definition .. then you owe it to your self to make sure you CD is available to be heard on WUSB!
You may even get a shot at being interviewed on “Making A Scene” !
On Monday Night he will be at the Bitter End in NYC for the Jim Moran and Richie Cannata Jam and he will again be accepting CD’s for WUSB.
Just ask for Richard L'Hommedieu, I’m sure someone will be able to point HIM out!
Remember nothing is going to happen unless you get out there and start "MAKING A SCENE"!!!
