NEVADA CITY FILM FESTIVAL

NEVADA CITY FILM FESTIVAL
Nevada City, California - USA
August 20 to 23, 2009

Created by filmmakers, for filmmakers, the 9th Annual NEVADA CITY FILM FESTIVAL (NCFF) has grown swiftly into a warm and well-regarded festival, boasting energetic audiences supporting consistently sold-out screenings.

Held each summer in Northern California's historic Nevada City, the Festival hosts numerous networking events including parties, panels, and discussion sessions with industry guests. Lineups from years past have included reps from "MADtv," "The Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!," "lonelygirl15," and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE.

Films that have premiered at NCFF have gone on to garner Academy Award nominations, win awards at the Sundance Film Festival and other major industry honors, and receive theatrical distribution. The Advocate declares, "The Nevada City Film Festival is what Sundance used to be and what Telluride strives to maintain."
